Podcast Redesign
Michigan Department of Natural Resources’ Wildlife Division has a podcast where they update listeners to what’s happening in the world of Michigan’s wildlife. They cover topics from the current birds in migration to hunting seasons news to which State Parks to visit to see the best of Michigan’s fall colors.
The logo redesign incorporates the white-tailed deer, found in every county in Michigan, and the only bear in Michigan, the black bear, and a color palette that is vibrant and encourages listeners of all ages to tune in!
Additionally, to promote the podcast, I designed enamel mugs that would be given away as prizes to podcast listeners. The main imagery helps reinforce the idea of going out and enjoying the wilderness and parks that Michigan’s DNR takes care of. The bottom of the mug has a simplified version of the podcast logo.
